The Global Infrastructure Project Pipeline: Key Trends Across Regions And Sectors
Monday, 20th June 2022
10:00 New York EDT | 15:00 London BST
This webinar provides an overview of the global infrastructure project pipeline including transport projects as well as energy and utilities projects, using data from our proprietary Fitch Solutions Infrastructure Key Projects Data, which includes information on over 40,000 projects globally across more than 200 markets.
We will break down the global infrastructure project pipeline by sector as well as by region, highlighting outperforming sectors and regions which will provide substantial opportunities for firms over the coming years as well as underperforming sectors and regions which will see comparatively limited investment.
Using our proprietary Project Risk Metric (PRM), we will also compare project risk levels globally among regions and sectors, to highlight variations in risk levels which in turn will significantly influence the relative opportunities available across regions and sectors globally. Using our Infrastructure Key Projects Data, we will also delve into the global infrastructure project competitive landscape, identifying the relative involvement in a given region or sector of firms based in different geographies, identifying key competitive dynamics currently impacting global infrastructure development. We will also highlight trends in construction contracting methods for large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on the relative use of public-private partnerships.
In addition to these globally-focused segments, this webinar will also include segments focused in particular on region-sector combinations which our analysts have selected and expect will see substantial investment and project activity over the coming years. Providing a more in-depth look at the underlying dynamics underpinning the infrastructure market in a number of outperforming sectors.
Topics covered will include:
